The Cloisters

They're not actual cloisters, but rather a museum (belongs to the Metropolitan Museum of Art), which features a variety of medieval European pieces.

One of my favorite sections were the gardens, especially this one - I just love the arches and the play of light and shadow.
The whole thing reminded me of Europe, so it was really nice :-)

I also liked these guys very much. Somehow they look painful, but quite funny. But the light/shadow won over them.
