Not Many People Know That (Number 7)

Not Many People Know That this English Foxhound can trace his ancestry back through every generation to 1770.

In fact English Foxhound breeding is better documented than any other breed of dog.

The Hertfordshire Hunt is recorded as far back as 1725
In 1970 the Hertfordshire Hunt amalgamated with the South Oxfordshire and Old Berkeley Hunt to form the Vale of Aylesbury. More recently they combined with the Garth & South Berks and in 2010 the hunt was re-named the Kimblewick.

Today the hounds met at the Farm here, as they have done every year for the past 300 years, however for the past 6 years they have had to chase a trail of scent rather than Charlie.

Others blips in the Not Many People Know That series are tagged Notmany.
