Quiz night again and under the name of 'Pandas and Penguins' (because we like Pandas and Penguins) my team took to the fray once more. Despite some fairly average scoring we still amassed a good sixty-seven points (with a stonking 10/10 on the movie table round, even if I didn't get to get them all!) and were hoping we'd be in with a chance at the second place prize.

As I'm sure were the other four teams that finished in the high sixties, harrummph.

So even with the cheeky bonus point awarded for me knowing that not only is John Ratzenberger the only man to voice a character in every Pixar film (Ham, Mack, Mr. Ray, etc.) he was also 'Cliff the Postman' in 'Cheers', it was a glorious seventh in the end for us, with the second place team actually finishing in mid-70s, and the winners (and they win about 50% of the time we're there) sitting pretty on 81.

*As it turns out there is a connection to Messr. Dumbledore. The landlord of The Empress is starting to run a gay dating night at his sister pub The Emperor, all team names tonight were to be suggestions he could use for the name - ours didn't really work...
