Splendor in the Sky

Can I just start out by announcing what an absolutely gorgeous day we had today. We are in a bit of an early heat wave, so it felt like late spring/early summer. The birds were still singing their little hearts out this evening and I could hear neighborhood kids outside playing until dusk.

This was while the sun was just about down. I had saw the clouds earlier, but they didn't turn pink until the last possible moment in the sunset....

Hope everyone is having a splendid week. We had the time change (daylight savings time) last weekend. Am I really dragging.. and an afternoon at work seems to last a week :D
