After the match

After a rugby international at Twickenham, we always seem to have a long trudge over fields and quiet lanes until we reach the pub on Twickenham Green. On this day it was The Albert. All the pubs were festooned with green, white and orange to welcome the Irish on St Patrick's Day. I can't imagine they would do the same for the English on St George's Day. We don't even do that in English pubs. I wonder why that is? And why do the Irish get two national anthems. Isn't that a bit greedy?
