Arizona Dreamin’

Last Bit Of Sun

It's grey and dreary. The rain comes pouring down in sporadic bursts. It started with howling winds preceding the storm last night, seemingly shaking the very foundation of the home I showed you yesterday.

I write this at noon and it's forty-two degrees Fahrenheit. A far cry from yesterday's sunny, eighty-two degrees.

But between the bursts of rain and dark clouds blew this beautiful sunrise.

I wouldn't have thought it possible. Just enough calm in the air for me to venture into the backyard this morning to catch the color.

This may have been the last bit of sun for a couple of days but it will return soon enough. We may get close to an inch of rain from this storm. Let's hope. We're already down two inches for the year. A couple of feet of snow is expected in the mountains and it is said that even Green Valley [gasp] may see a flake or two by Wednesday.
