Mississippi style

As a student I spent hours and hours learning country blues songs, mostly Mississippi John Hurt. An awesome guitarist.

Inspired by Missymoo to do a self portrait. Also encouraged by stuff I've been reading about photography which almost universally suggests a photographer should get comfortable being in front of the camera as well as behind it.

I suppose it makes sense, after all - if I'm going to be pointing a camera at people I should expose myself to the same indignity!

So that's the reasoning. I think I might have cropped this a bit too harshly though.
