Purple Finch...

why are they called 'purple finch' when in fact they are RED!!!! oh well...nothing to worry about really.

It was lovely to get back into the studio after a week away.....preparing for the weekend retreat....so i had great music, and got back into the swing of work! Getting ready to do some major glaze testing! i have 15 new glazes to test....singularly (so i can see how they marry with my clay) and then with all the various layered permutations .... this will take quite some time, but i'm very excited at the new possibilities!
