Old Iron

We had a great day out in Oxford today. The last few times I've been it's been just for shopping so it was nice to have a proper outing.
Miss E was at school so it was just me and Miss L which was really good - I'm finding my daughters much more fun individually at the moment!
After lunch with Mrs C we went to the Natural History Museum to meet Mrs K and her boys. They all loved the dinoasaur skeletons and stuffed animals, and they especially loved running around the fabulous old building. It's so child friendly with bones and fossils to touch, drawers to open and discover treasures inside, skeletons to grab hold of and swing on like Mr C and Mr R did, oops!!!
It's an old Victorian college building with amazing ironwork and intricate brickwork - a miniature version of the Natural History Museum in London. Wonderful!
Then we went for coffee and cake which is a nice way to finish off any outing!
