the future is orange

I didn't take many photos today...I have been preoccupied with preparations for my first ever karate grading, which happens tomorrow morning. Tonight I went for an extra hour of training and since then, I have been practising in the kitchen, and punching and blocking my way down the garden on my way to put the hens to bed. I expect I shall be doing the kata in my sleep.

The rest of my grading group are all at least 40 years younger than I am, and about 2 feet shorter. I only started doing karate a few months ago because I didn't want to sit on the sidelines watching eldest son having all the fun.( He is going for his red belt tomorrow).
