Chicken Moulton

By demand from a fellow blipper and friend, here is Pete's latest bicycle project - a 1965 Stowaway Moulton. This was his dads and bought so that it could be transported when they moved around (he was in the army). The bike sat in his mums garage for years until he took position of it last year. Pete enterd into a restoration project and replaced most many parts. He had it resprayed chrome coloured powder coat - which I was not sure about at all - but trusted his judgement - he had seen another one with the same paint job and really liked it. After much hunting for the right part, waiting for wheels to be rebuilt and the frame to be resprayed it was finished last autumn. Have to say it does look nice.

This description is from a bicyclist enthusiast's patient partner - who knows very little and can not offer a more technical description. Its silver, very old and looks lovely! This is one of 3 Moultons owned by Pete - the others will no doubt be blipped at some time in the future, maybe even one of all 3!! Yes we do have a lot of bikes. I think we counted 15 last weekend - of which Snowy is one
