It was a rainy day today in stark contrast with the 22 degree el scorchio we had yesterday.

I had two assessments to supervise this morning and managed to struggle through the rest of the day.

At around 5.30, I decided to venture out into the rain for a blip. The weather was kind for the five minutes I was out there and I went in search of something to shoot.

Once more, these buds caught my attention. The promise of great things to come. That moment just as the red flower is about to be revealed in all her glory.

I'm doing another photography lesson tomorrow and hope that the weather is good to us then too. I intend to take my 'students' back to this spot so they can have a go at some macro shots.

Bed now.
