Touchdown.

Touchdown in Aberdeen! This morning we woke to more sun - we've been spoiled! M and I were the first ones up, so we got straight into the hot tub and spent an hour enjoying the beautiful views of Aalgard from the terrace with a cup of coffee. When everyone else had got up, we walked up the hill behind A's house - as A's brother remarked: it's hard to find a BAD view in Norway!

We had a lovely Sunday lunch of lamb leg, and all too soon it was time to drive back to the airport for our plane home. We had a lovely holiday, just cementing in our minds that someday (hopefully soon) M and I will live over there.

M's Mum and Dad had kindly offered us dinner with them, which was just wonderful (although I'll definitely have to be back on the diet tomorrow!). I was falling asleep on the sofa by 10pm, so we wandered back to our little flat, laid out the reindeer skin and pretended we were still back in Scandinavia!
