Salad Thief

I'm tolerant of most wildlife in my garden but, snails are not going to share my tender young salad! Go and eat weeds!

This is a Garden snail, Helix aspersa. Any gardener knows how partial they are to our favourite plants. Throwing them over the fence is pointless as they have a tremendous homing instinct which will draw them straight back to where they came from.
