Without thinking about it, it felt a bit wrong to be parking in a little residential street outside someone's house, unloading the bikes and heading off into town, leaving the car there all day. Of course those people don't own that bit of road any more than I do so there's no reason why I shouldn't park there. But they'd better get used to it since my trip home was half an hour shorter that it would be on a normal day parking at the airport because the mess of tram/roadworks at Gogar is avoided as is the queue to the Barnton junction. And it's almost entirely free of traffic. And there's a beer-selling Scotmid at the end of the street (damn that not having a lock for the bike thing).
