BethaBlip 22...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

Bethany's speech is again, getting better and better. I think she has really got the facility for most words she requiures but just needs reminded from time to time of how they are meant to sound. For instance, she still calls her brother EE-On but when reminded how to pronounce it properly, she can easily do so.

She also went up a shoe size this month. One step closer to getting into the DCs that her uncle brought her back from Denver last year. That said, she's at one foot in a 4, the other in a 4 and a half which means she's gone into a 5 so they should last her a good wee while.

This morning as well was the first time I was introduced to her rendition of the Tombliboos song. If you want to see it, you'll have to watch some In the Night Garden. It is very accurate and involves some knocking on the door, touching your nose and sitting on the floor. Another example of something she has just picked up without any encouragement from us.

Another curious thing that isn't specifically related to this month but is worth recording, Bethany seems to be afraid of fluff. Kind of in the same way people are afraid of spiders. If a piece of general house fluff appears near her, she just points it out and asks us to get rid of it. Comes up quite a lot with a cat in the house generated most offending articles.
