Rice grain

This is a rice plant, and it's those little beads, that will become one grain of rice. This is the stage before harvesting.

Never thought I would get the opportunity to take shots of paddy fields up close. Walked through them before the break of dawn today. It was the most incredible experience. Again, this is not a fancy shot by any means, but for me, this is a dedication to the wide green expanses that that carpet rural Bengal.

A couple of backblips starting here. Hope you enjoy them. There are loads more, perhaps better. But I chose these ones, because, to me, they are more about the place I visited than about the photographer.
