Exaggerated reflections

The day was dull, damp, dreary, dismal and wet for the most part. I brought the camera with me to the music session, which was in Swords today, thinking of going to the Estuary afterwards and point it at a few swans. By the time we finished our after-music pub chat, though, it was raining seriously and I didn't fancy the prospect of getting drenched. Fortunately, there'd been a short-lived glimpse of brightness earlier in the morning, and nice things were happening with reflections from the window in a large glass vase, and it looked reasonably blippable. With only that and a few other just-in-case interior shots in the blip bag for the day, it took a bit of processing work to come up with something I was half-way happy with. This is it, while this is the bland, boring original.

Apart from that and the (wonderful) music session, the day was a busy one, spent slaving away on the quarterly magazine job which regularly lands me in extended work stretches.
