Wonham Waters.....Day 7

One of the routes we took across Exmoor earlier in the week took us from Oare, to Withypool, not long out of Oare we came across a herd of Red Deer, probably 50 or 60 strong.
Viewed through our binoculars they were huge, and every single deer we could see was looking directly at us, all ears pricked and every deer aware of us.
Looking through the camera, i didn't think the image was very good, so didn't take any shots. "IDIOT"
So here we are on our last day, retracing our steps trying to get the three shots i wished i'd taken at the time.
1), The herd of Red Deer.
2) A Duck with a group of ducklings.
3) A Chicken with a group of chicks.

Unfortunately, no ducks, or chicks to be seen, and only a so so shot of the Deer...

Lesson learnt, if you're offered an oppertunity, take it..........!!

All in all, we've had a fantastic time here in the West country.
