Iron Bridge

This is the iron bridge at Aberlour, in the heart of whisky country. I would like to add the history of the bridge. Unfortunately I know nothing about it. It is close to the railway station, unfortunately that is also unfortunate. It is a railway station with a platform, but there are no railway lines. No doubt thanks to Dr. Beeching of ill famed memory.

It has been a nice day today, though it did cloud over for a while. In the early evening the sun reappeared, and it was just about warm enough to go out without a jacket.

Tomorrow is the Speyside Kiltwalk, 26 miles from Buckie to Aberlour. A day with weather similar to today would be good, according to the forecast it is not to be.
