Deep Blue Something

There I was crouched in my pyjamas and dressing gown, on my kitchen work top, taking some macro shots of these dainty blue flowers standing proudly in the vase (and, frankly, performing so much better than the accompanying red and yellow tulips I'd bought which had slumped on my return home from work), whilst waiting for my bolognese sauce to cook, I didn't stop to determine the name of these wee beauties. So, if anyone can tell me what you're looking at here, I'd be most interested!

That said, I've gone for the delicate patterning of the petals and the intricate detail on the stamen in this shot and I hope I've successfully captured this soft blanket of pastel blue.
