At last - Snow!!!!

I've been going on a bit for the last few days about how midwinter without snow is a very dark time.
This morning I awoke to snowflakes drifting down . Hooray!!
After a while they stopped falling so we only have one cm of snow but what a difference that centimetre makes.  The world suddenly looks clean.  The dark sky is less important when the ground is white. Driving home in the dark was so much easier with all that light reflecting back instead of being absorbed by thick darkness.  Hooray one more time!
