travel day

A 5:30am alarm.

At the airport for 8 for my 10am flight to Amsterdam. A slight glitch there - 80 minute delay announced. High winds in Amsterdam had caused air traffic control restrictions. easyJet got us boarded and ready to go, and managed to negotiate a better slot - only 40 minutes late.

I'm the first to get grumpy when these things happen, but easyJet handled it very well indeed so my hat off to them.

I had a few hours to kill in Amsterdam before my flight to Munich. Nice to wander about the centre and get to know it again. It meant I had lots of Blip options.

This one made me wonder... I suppose they just re-lay the floors so they're not living on a slope.

Any structural engineers out there?
