Patch

8.4C with sunny spells and cloudy spells. Light breeze becoming calm.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. We walked up to the church and went down the field with the bridle path to the shore road. Then we went down to the beach via the level crossing in the little field.

The tide was almost fully in but there was enough beach for us to walk along to the fishermen's huts at Westhaven. We passed one dog walker. The sea was flat calm. Now and then the sea came sweeping up the beach catching Maeve out and washing over her paws.

At the fishermen's huts I went looking around for something like this shot from January 2014, and this one from the January before when Valhalla VI was the boat outside the end hut. SIlver Cat has an equally scraped and bumped hull with a patch of some sort of filler here and there.
