Looking out to Sea

6.5C with bright spells and plenty of showers. Wind to 26 mph with gusts to 45 mph.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk after lunch. Capercaillie on the Nano (The Blood is Strong and Delirium). We went down the road to the shore road then went over the road bridge over the railway to Westhaven beach. The tide was just starting to go out. We walked along the beach in the direction of Carnoustie then made our way up to the path and walked along the seafront to the golf courses. Although there was some smir as we walked it was still bright and I enjoyed looking out to sea. I had waterproofs on and Maeve had her coat on, so we were warm and the rain didn't matter.

We went along by the first tee and the eighteenth green on the Championship course, crossed the road by Simpson's golf shop, then went up to the High Street and came back along to rejoin our usual route up the main road and along to home.
