Looking up the Half Mile

7.4C with sunny spells and a few light squally showers. Wind to 23 mph with gusts to 36 mph.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. We walked up to the church and went down the field with the bridle path to the shore road. The farmer was in the field in his old red tractor working his way around a flooded part of the field with the harrow on the tractor. There was a light shower as we walked the last part of the bridle path.

Maeve and I walked along the cycle path but didn't go down to the beach today. The tide was in, and the sea looked fairly rough with white topped waves rolling on over the rocks. I stopped just past the field gate and got this shot looking up the half mile to the old school and the church. You can see the next shower heading our way.
