Santa is coming

A short morning at work, at the venue, being very unhelpful at the venue. But it was good to be there and see everything beginning to come together.

Home, to do some prep.  The weather is cold and wet. Olivia cried, a lot, left with me and her dad!

It was an afternoon of cooking - mince pies, with Carols from King's, the tea and prep for tomorrow.   Outside the sleet sleeted and the wind blew and E came round with a card and presents.  Her family has been touched by the Glasgow tragedy. So sad, a friend's mother home from Cyprus for the holidays and killed in such a random and awful way.

WH and WF were in town, at the Museum and other places.  #1 son started deboning birds for tomorrow and we ate and then watched 'The Military Wives'.  #1 son knows a couple of the women and has links with the Mess at Chetwynd.

It's Christmas Eve.  Wine and cheese but no church for all the atheists here. Lots and lots of presents under the tree.  Lots and lots of food in the fridges.

It's Christmas.  Have a lovely time all my blip friends.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
