Tavern Lane

It’s a funny time of year, this short period between Christmas and New Year, and especially the day or two after Boxing Day.  Maybe it’s just the let-down after the celebrations, but at least it gives one a chance to relax a little before the next round of partying/socialising/celebrating.  There’s always plenty to eat in the way of yummy leftovers, and normally plenty of cakes, biscuits etc. to save either cooking or going shopping.  Of course there are always the sales, something we avoid like the plague, though we did manage to get to Nero with Emma and Andy for a coffee before they headed off to Worcester.

We took it easy this afternoon though I did built the bird feeding station first.  I would have blipped that only I haven’t a full stock of all the different feeds to take up the various hooks yet, only seed and suet balls, plus I gave them some water.  I’ll stock up next time I go to Robert Dyas then blip it when it’s swarming with wild birds (though I suspect they’ll still all go next door).

I took this picture in Shottery whilst taking Dylan for a walk.
