THE WOOLVES AT THE NEUHAUS WILDPARK

When we awoke the sky looked very promising, the clouds only in the far distance. No wonder we were exited and almost immediately drove to the Neuhaus Wildpark, 20 km. from our home.
It was very cold, but we had put on all kinds of cloths and double gloves and the first part of our walk there was still in the shadow of the hills and the high old trees.
It is such a wonderful path one follows, first we see the goats, sheep and donkeys (new ones), then the wide space where the woolves live.
There are all kinds of houses for wild birds too.
Then the spaces where all different deer are living just apart from each other. We stood and watched the raccoon house, a hollow tree trunk and when they heard us one or two came peeping through the hole and showed us that they had sleeping a minute ago. they yawned a lot.
They did not leave their warm nest, probably waiting till the sun would warm their field. The pond there covered with (thick?) ice.
Our feet grew cold and we continued our walk, saw the wild boars (a bit further away from where we stood) and more deer (muffle ones)
Piet Hein spotted the two lynxes, but Mischa and I did not have the patience any longer. Coffee and tea in the new nice Wald Haus.
The drive to the Park goes through the fabulous Solling Forest, there are so many opportunities to walk there. It seems to me that 2014 had given too little nice days to roam there, but we hope for better chances in the new year.

My haiku:

Who is still afraid
Of woolves from the fairies now?
My cap was pink today

And the proverb:

Yule is come, and Yule is gone, and we have feasted well; so Jack must to his flair again, and Jenny to her wheel.
