In Memoriam

This beautiful lichen-covered stone is the rear of the gravestone on my late husband's grave in the Arrowtown cemetery. A. and I visited this morning and were grateful and reassured to see that the succulents that I'd planted around the stone had done so well and were in fact, looking lovely. The wee church in the background is a lovely old stone building, St. John's Church in Arrowtown. My daughter was married there and my husband's funeral, in 1999, was conducted there. It's all full of poignant memories, sad and happy memories, gratefulness for what has been, and for what is happening today. I've much to be thankful for. Thanks for coming with me today A.
