Foggy Day

The only difference between mist and fog is its density. In the UK for driving purposes the definition of fog is visibility less than 100 metres and by that standard I reckon today is a bit dodgy for setting out on country roads as the sun is struggling to break through. I've decided to postpone my walk at Loch Lomond till tomorrow and will head out for the warm indoor pool.

The scene in this picture shows the frosted willowherb that in late summer grows in profusion on this grassy embankment, with the muted outlines of the houses appearing beyond.
