Winter Stream

Dartmoor looked beautiful this afternoon and there were a lot of people out enjoying it. I arrived near Holwell Lawn a little before sunset and I liked the frosty grass that remained by this little stream. It probably doesn't show the light to its best but you can see a couple of others here that do.

It's been a very chilly day and looking out this morning, the frost was very thick in places (including on my windscreen). The river looked strange with frost covering the banks in places. Very cold but I do prefer that to the misty or rainy days, even if I choose not to spend too much time out in it.
