Little Scientist

We had another lazy day today. The Little Misses spent most of the morning on separate devices watching different programmes and playing different games. Not a habit I want them to get into.
I didn't realise that they had been calling Nana and Papa during the day and arranging for them to come over! They duly arrived in the late afternoon and were immediately involved in chemistry experiments, charades and Bingo.
Fuelled by a little too much sugar Miss L's charades were even more spectacular than yesterday's - most of them either involved crouching in a ball and wiggling her bottom or climbing up on the arm of the sofa and beaming manically. Very funny!
There was much excitement from the Little Misses when Papa bought in the enormous package containing their main present. A pink trampoline for the garden.
My poor dad spent a couple of hours out in the icy cold assembling it; through fading light into pitch darkness. What a trooper!
Then he carried them out through the frost and bundled them through the net for a bounce. There was much squealing and shrieking!!
We eventually packed them off to bed and spent a very lovely evening eating out of date brie and cranberry parcels, out of date olives and more of the seemingly endless supply of (in date) baguettes and pate.
And watching Saving Mr Banks which I loved.
