Curb your enthusiasm

Edge of a huge ice puddle at the P.O. Another view here.

Skiers and snowboarders, curlers and hockey players, CHILL.
Some of us just pray we don't slip and break a hip.

The price we Portlanders pay for sun in the winter is an Ice Age.
I hope this doesn't last as long as the last one

Okay, I can't resist. I almost know this poem by heart.

FIRE AND ICE
by Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
