2014

The final sunset of 2014 at Findhorn.

I forgot to do my yearly review yesterday - the last two years I've done it on the 30th.  So here goes the top ten for 2014.

Have a good new year, everyone!

1.  Early in the year, and still my favourite shot of the year - Dominika.

2.  The first time I've done a wedding officially - for Kirsty and Calum.  A great day, topped off by singing and dancing to Loch Lomond, on the banks of Loch Lomond.  While we're on weddings, here was the second time I've done a wedding officially - for Amy and Tom.  A great weekend in Kenmore.

3.  A baby for my friend Tracy - this is Freya at one week old.

4.  A stressful time at work for a while this year, which in itself doesn't count as a highlight.  Nor does saying goodbye to some good friends.  The nights out do though - especially in summer.

5.  Summer events in Forres.  The Sea King and Pipe Band Championships.

6.  Another summer occasion and Bruv's 30th.  And then ending the year with Bruv and Denise moving in to their new house.

7.  A sought-after picture, with a request (via blip) from a company who wanted to use the picture - from the Highland Tattoo.

8.  In photography terms, a highlight was the new lens... the fisheye.  And a new photography theme this year.  The flashback.  More of them to come.

9.  1825 pictures, or 5 years on blipfoto was passed this summer.

10.  And finally, the car breaking down was a low point, but buying a new one with four miles on the clock was a highlight.
