Day 697 - the day the little dude turned 7!

Given his recent illness and tendency to not cope too well with loads of people we kept his Army mans party very low key. The tactic worked. Cue a very smiley child, a unstressed ma/pa and the tank cake got childlike 'wows' especially when it's cannon became a firework!

Kudos to mother dude and grandang for the decorations and food especially given the lurgy has now also darkened their door (sorry for spreading the love!).

To complete a lovely day, Indy the Hamster was let loose in The Ball (safest place for him outside his cage given his tendency to jump- a lot). Bit of a turnaround to this morning, where the little party animal was still up but clearly tired and emotional given the amount of hissing and squeaking when I tired to encourage him to make a bed.

Fits in perfectly in this household with that behaviour!
