Fluidity of flight

A quick trip to Heathrow today to collect my friend incoming from Canada. It was a somewhat delayed trip because her flight was late by several hours due to a technical fault with the plane in Toronto.

She arrived at the rather magnificent new Terminal 2, where this spectacular sculpture greets arriving passengers and this coming to collect them. I have no idea what it is called, but to me it represents the fluidity of flight.
