In the Dry

After a very wet and gloomy start to the day there is now wall to wall blue sky and a walk beckons.

I couldn't believe how many paper bags we had tucked away under the stairs so had a decidedly boring morning sorting them out.  Some have been rolled for reuse when shopping and others can be used for emptying the bins.  Others have been recycled.  

I picked this hydrangea in the summer when it was pink and it has dried to a lovely shade of lavender.  I knew it would come in handy for a rainy day.
