Beam

After a hearty Northumberland breakfast we headed home via the A68, a lovely drive in brilliant sunshine. It was cold, mind, but the wind had dropped a fair bit since yesterday. We paused at Carter Bar to look at the view - the ice in the parking area gave me my first opportunity of the year to deploy the Yaktrax.

This is the view back south into Englandshire - on the right is the back view of the big sign that on the reverse side says "Welcome to Scotland" and "Failte gu Alba"!
