Wonderful Winter Woodland Walk

A typical January day. Light hailstones turning to flurries of snow. But by 10.a.m. a weak winter sun was struggling to be seen and within half an hour the sky had turned a pale duck egg blue. The gales of recent days had died away.

So Knottman goes forth with his Pacer Poles and photographers gloves to walk one of the very many woodland paths on the edge of the village.

That was most enjoyable but as one might expect ten minutes from home the hailstones and snow flurries returned.
