Raging Torrent

Made a trip to the Falls of Feugh, about 15 miles west of Aberdeen. As far as I recall I have never seen previously the falls raging the way they were today. Judging by the colour there is a lot of peat in the water as well. I have no idea what speed the water was coming over the falls, but I would not fancy the chances of a salmon trying to make it up stream against that force.

A nice sunny day for once, though quite cool out of the sun. The falls though were maybe demonstrating the amount of rain we have had over the last few weeks.

A meal in an Italian restaurant in Westhill rounds off a pleasant day.
