Happy!

Guess who's got a new food processor?!

Apparently it's something G has wanted for a long time but I don't recall hearing many noises about it. And now, as we are in the throes of Dubai Shopping Festival, this was on offer at a good price - so here it is! It's finally been unpacked, spatula and all, and a cake is promised. I asked for a red velvet!

In other news, the forecast rain did arrive along with lots of other inclement weather such as strong winds, sheet lightning, hail stones and even SNOW. Yes snow. Unfortunately, nothing seems to happen around the Trade Centre and for most of the day, it looked like it wasn't even raining whilst other parts of the city were experiencing heavy down pours. How come I miss out on all the fun?

Mind, coming out of the building, there was evidence of it bucketing down everywhere as there were big puddles.  Dubai's drainage gets clogged with sand through the year... Karama however, was remarkably dry.  That's what you get for living in an established area.  :D
