Where's our Invitation?

A cold but lovely start to the day after heavy rain last night.

Today is a friend's 60th birthday and I, along with other friends were invited to lunch at La Almadraba Restaurante.   As you can see there were a couple of gatecrashers sitting as bold as brass on the back of a chair at an adjoining table.

It was a typical ladies only lunch with fine food, fine wine and excellent company, thoroughly enjoyed by all.   We had salads, aubergines deep fried drizzled in honey, spiced fried fish, deep fried whitebait, pork and tomato stew with chips, followed by fresh fruit salad and coffee and a Baileys.
