Duddingston Loch

We stayed over night at Katkatkat's after bringing her and G back up to Edinburgh.  We decided that before we headed back down to Cumbria we would go out for an amble around and the chance to take some photos.

We chose as the venue Duddingston Loch.  I took many bird photos as well as a number of contra jour shots of the loch itself.  One of my swan shots captured a green darvic ring number and I hadn't even noticed the bird was rung!

After the wander around and photographic session we treated ourselves to a warm up in the Sheep Heid.  The designated driver (guess who) had to settle for a soft drink.
