Homeward Bound

Exactly where home is I am not entirely sure to be honest. There are so many people and things I will miss about the UK but driving down to Heathrow made me remember the things I won't miss!!
I had allowed 5 and a half hours to do a 3.5 hour trip. That included the huge stretches of M1 that were down to 50mph. I didn't take account of the massive accident that shut the motorway and slowed traffic to a standstill!
I got to the car hire company with 10 mins to spare. They then kindly brought me to Heathrow which feels like it is as big as CHCHitself! Alas I now have a 5 hour wait at the airport (although it is in the Business lounge)
