Jubilation

I caught this on YouTube as I missed it while having lunch with Mum & Step-dad; he was 80 last weekend and too young to have served in WW2 with the magnificent men who flew the magnificent machines commemorated in the marvellous Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. I am proud to hail from Lincolnshire home to the BBMF, the Red Arrows and serving airmen!
I'm posting this on Sunday a little while after a hefty trek across huge green swathes of London including the little bit currently being built on to provide a memorial to the 55,000 of Bomber Command who gave their lives in the service of their country. I for one am delighted that, at last, after so long, their sacrifice is being commemorated in this way!
