Mono-Monday Challenge Close-up

Almost tropical outside this morning but quite breezy.  I think I may be looking at visiting warmer climes by Wednesday if the forecast is anything to go by.

I nearly had to put my lifesaving skills to the test again this morning.  The blue tits are busy with housekeeping chores in the bird box but as I went out to the shed this morning two of them locked feet and bounced off the fence.  Fortunately they both flew off.

This wasp is hibernating in the shed, so I knew I had an emergency blip if I needed one, but as today's challenge is "Close-up", I thought it fitted the bill.
