Vegetable Soup

Time to make soup with what is lingering in the vegetable drawer of the fridge.
His Lordship and I are incompatible in many things and one of them is a likeness for soup.
For him, it is not solid or filling enough to be classed as food, but this is not for him, it is for my girlie luncheon tomorrow. Served with crusty brown bread it should be just what the doctor ordered if the predicted arctic temperatures and snow come to Edinburgh.
