Best Before ... last year!

Today's the day I sorted through the kitchen cupboards! A fair few tins have stayed out, to be opened, sniffed, closely examined, and then the contents eaten or chucked asap. Based on past experience, most will pass the still-safe-to-eat test. Touch wood, we've never yet had food poisoning.

The fact that we've been here before really does suggest that our Stock Control needs rethinking. I'm making a start by using these pink post-it notes: they're on tins that have gone back in the cupboard as they're dated late 2014, so are only just beyond their Best Before date.

Quite photogenic, too, I thought!
