It's amazing what I'm learning as I teach...(apart from the fact that one of my students knows the word 'malingerer' and that none of them could remember from last week where dimples are found)

- one of my students hasn't flown for about 15 years, ever since the plane she was on had to land on a bed of foam on the runway because the undercarriage didn't come down.
- out of seven students two are convinced that you don't have to carry I.D. all the time.
- the phrase 'pain in the bum' is much liked.
- you can get a parking ticket for leaving a scooter in a pedestrianised area.
